outdoor spring wedding: details

back in the spring, i had the chance to help two dear friends style their wedding. they asked me to help with almost every part of the execution of their day and i was so honored to be involved in each and every detail. from menus and programs to flowers, bouquets and seating charts, everything was handwritten and attended to with care to make sure their day was perfect. even though the weather was unexpectedly cold and rainy, it was still a beautiful union to behold. below are pictures captured from the extremely wonderful and talented, mandy busby. it was a pleasure to finally meet and work with her. enjoy!

chalkboard compositions

many times, i look for potential in unexpected places. such was the case the other day at a favorite store when i stumbled upon geometric shaped chalk in the kids section. i thought it would be fun to shoot and also great to try out on my chalkboard. so, i searched through my stash of favorite quotes and compiled a couple of compositions together. enjoy!

recently inspired: mother’s day brunch

the other day i put together a little inspiration for a mother’s day brunch table setting. i arranged a few new props, including some vintage plates and newly purchased trimmings. the place setting is set in two ways. one with a place card idea, and the second with a menu. all pieces were created by using watercolors and are handwritten, and the tags are now available in the shop! if you’d like something created for a special occasion you have coming up, i’d love to hear from you!

product spotlight: baby name prints

my most recent idea for watercolors includes customizing them into prints for baby names. the idea can take the form of whatever you might want it to look like. whether it’s an important verse, meaning of the child’s name, date of birth, or prayer over their life, i’d love to paint and write whatever vision you might have. sizes and colors can be chosen as well (pictured below is sized at 5 x 7). enjoy!

recently updated: return address stamp

the return address stamp now has a brand new look. not only is the name hand-lettered, but now the entire address is as well! once the listing is purchased, it takes about 3 weeks in total for the stamp to ship to you. the stamp can come in a pre-inked version or one that is custom mounted to wood. you can check out the rest of the details in the shop. enjoy!

recently crafted: handwritten postcards

these days, the easiest thing to do when i want to send a card or note to someone special is grab a sheet of cardstock that is close by, cut it to the shape i want and hand-letter a phrase of choice. it’s fun to play with colors, sizing and format.

in my explorations, i have found some new favorite ways to place the text and i always browse for a new pen to add to my choices when at my local craft stores. due to go in the shop by the end of the week, these postcards are the perfect addition to your stationery when you want to send a short note that is easy to drop in the mail. hope you enjoy!
